The MAV Cluster has been the beneficiary of an ACCIÓ grant within the framework of the Line of Initiatives to Strengthen Competitiveness (IRC) intended for cluster dynamizers. This grant, of almost 35,000 euros, will finance the cluster's 2024-2025 activity plan, which has a total budget of 60,000 euros.

The aim of this grant, provisionally awarded in September, is to support the implementation of the MAV Cluster's annual activity plan, which includes several key actions to boost the competitiveness of the advanced materials sector. Among the planned activities, the revitalization of the Cluster's working groups, participation in international fairs, the establishment of new strategic alliances with other organizations and the strengthening of the cluster's external communication stand out.

The subsidized actions are part of ACCIÓ's IRC line, which aims to help accredited clusters respond to the challenges of the sector within the Catalunya Clústers Program. This program is designed to improve the competitiveness of participating entities, updating their strategies and promoting collaboration between companies.

To access this line of aid, the clusters must have the official accreditation of the Catalonia Clusters Program for the period 2024-2026, a condition that the Cluster renewed last June. This grant represents a significant boost for the continuity and growth of the activities of the MAV Cluster in order to continue promoting innovation and collaboration in the field of advanced materials.
